NFBPA Development Day 2012
Friday, March 30, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM (CDT)
Development Day 2012 is designed to help you create and execute successful professional and personal strategies for the future. This year's theme is, "What's in your toolbox? Expanding the capacity of public administrators". This theme is very relevant today. As cities, counties, and states face an enormous array of critical problems – including escalating crime rates, growing demands for social services, rapidly deteriorating infrastructures, and diminishing Federal aid to localities – the need for talented, energetic creative, resourceful, and capable managers from diverse backgrounds is increasingly present. NFBPA was established to sharpen the skills and capabilities of an elite core of managers and administrators who have already demonstrated superior achievement in the profession and are ready to ascend to the next level. The event will draw hundreds of public administrators from around the region and beyond to Austin, Texas. Join us for Development Day 2012, which was designed for people like you who recognize the value of other's experience and want to benefit from it.
